  1. STREET ENTRY

    Use the red street door

    Use the red street door at 2000 W Fulton St, on the north side of Fulton at Damen.

  2. CALL BOX

    Buzz 2389

    Use the call box to buzz 2389. Give the event code from your invite if you have one; otherwise, check in with your host. Then wait to be buzzed inside.

  3. THIRD FLOOR

    Head to the third floor

    Once you are buzzed in, head up to the third floor and walk past the bathrooms.

  4. OFFICE DOORS

    Look for the red double doors

    Look for the giant 2389 sign on the pair of red double doors. Scan your QR code pass if your invite or host sent one; otherwise, ring the doorbell.

MAKE CITY

What to expect

Make City is an old manufacturing building and business incubator with many working businesses. The 2389 office is home to vintage Altec and Klipsch stereo systems, robots, AI agents, and hands-on hacking projects.

    9am to 5pm weekdays

  • OUTSIDE HOURS

    Outside-hours access is available by arrangement.

Getting here

  • CTA GREEN LINE

    Damen station is a 5-minute walk: head north on Damen to Fulton.

  • BUS

    The #50 Damen stops at Damen and Fulton, by the door. From downtown, the #20 Madison stops a half-mile south.

  • METRA

    From the Western Avenue or Clybourn stops, take a rideshare rather than walk. From Ogilvie downtown, ride the Green Line from Clinton to Damen.

  • BIKE

    Bike racks are outside on Fulton St, in front of Metric Coffee and the 2000 W Fulton entrance; the building has no dedicated bike parking. On a Divvy, check the app for the nearest dock or e-bike parking before you arrive.

  • CAR

    Street parking is available on Fulton St between Hoyne and Wolcott.
